Love's task

Dad     : Im so tired. I wanna go home.
Mom   : Dear, if you love me, can you wait for me for a little while??
Dad     : I love you but Ive been here for many hours. Im so hungry.
Mom   : Sit down!! Well go home soonn. I m almost done with my shopping!!
2 Hours later,
Dad     : I go home now. If you wanna go on your shopping, just go home by 	taxi, ok?
Mom answers angrily
Mom   : You know if Im done, what I have to do later???
	:  I have to cook your dinner and wash dishes after you eat.
	:  Is it my fault that I just want you to wait for me is a very short 		period.
Then, Dad says nothing.
This conversation  is from Thinking out loud by Pop Areeya Sirisopa. What she wrote in the book was through her own experience and her attitudes towards life, love and society. 
....And my most favorite chapter out of 14 is  Loves task, where the conversation  above between her dad and her mom can be seen at the beginning of the story. She wrote about her own parents when they go shopping together. What she always sees is the picture of her dad with many shopping bags in both hand waiting patiently for her mom who appears inside the shops.
....Actually, it reminds me of the similar picture of guys waiting for their girls at the department stores, including my dad. I cannot be sure of the exact percentage of such guys over the world but Im certain that there must be over 70%. Basically, nobody likes to wait for anything and men never love shopping ; they prefer playing their games, watching TV, listening to the radio, repairing cars, or hanging out with their friends than spending their time waiting so long for their girls
....As for me, I have always been wondering why men choose to be chauffeurs driving their wives or girlfriends to the mall and also porters carrying a lot of shopping bags following their girls. 
	And what I got is 
                                        It s because of Love
	
 When we love someone, we can change ourself as men change to be able to wait for their girls doing shopping just because those guys want their lovers to be happy. And its also their pleasure to spend time sharing activities with their loved ones. 
....Moreover, love can change us to be better persons. This is because when we love someone, we ,usually, want to give the best things to make them happy. And if we are still not good enough or do whatever that upsets them, we are not happy either.
                          We can change just because we wanna be
                                the best present for our loved ones.
