เมื่อได้ข่าวเพื่อนตาย วันศุกร์เช้า
อึ้ง-นิ่ง งงงันกับข่าวคราว
ผ่านรวดร้าวกว่าสองวัน พลันหาเจอ
  ฉันร้องไห้ขณะนี้ที่แต่งกลอน
ยังจำที่เพื่อนสอน ได้เสมอ
"อยู่อย่างสู้" คือคำเตือนของเพื่อนเกลอ
และไม่เพ้อพ่ายแพ้แม้ใกล้ตาย
  ฉันคงจะคิดถึงรอยยิ้มนั้น
