คนนอกโบสถ์ : Outside the Church

โฉมเอยโฉมงามทรามสวาท
คือเทพีปราสาทพระคริสต์เจ้า
ย้อนอดีตโบราณแต่นานเนา
ภวังค์เก่าเข้าฝันกระสันครวญ

เสียงดนตรีไพเราะเสนาะนัก
นางเยื้องยักรำงามตามกระสวน
เหล่านางรำอื่นๆต่างชื่นชวน
คนทั้งมวลเพ่งพิศอย่างติดใจ

นัยว่าเป็นเทวาลงมาโปรด
เพื่อชุบโบสถ์มวลชนพ้นสมัย
อธิษฐานขอพรฟ้อนรำไป
เพื่อบาปไถ่ถ่ายถอนคำสอนจริง

ชาวฝรั่งทั้งผองต่างจ้องจด
เธอร่ายบทล้ำเลิศดูเพริศพริ้ง
ให้นึกรักหนักเศียรจนเวียนวิง
หลงยอดหญิงชาวฝรั่งจะคลั่งตาย

สงบเสียงดนตรีนารีหยุด
ก็สิ้นสุดขอพรฟ้อนถวาย
เหล่าชาวคริสต์ทุกคนบ่นเสียดาย
ต่างแยกย้ายกันกลับลาลับไกล

เหลือชายทาสความรักนั่งพักโบสถ์
นางจงโปรดเมตตาได้ปราศรัย
จะขอมอบรักหอมสู่อ้อมใจ
ขอตามไปเมืองฟ้าโปรดปราณี

Outside the church

Perfectly charming, how you look,
Known as the female Servant in the house of Christ.
It’s in the past, but refreshing vividly in trance of my dream.

The tone of music was so sweet;
Whilst she was beautifully dancing.
And all other girl dancers admired her, and the audience was also enthralled. 

It’s a rumour of angel herself, who came down to earth;
For a salvation of the Church’s people.
Dancing was a performing of repentance and being released the sin.

Attractive girl, all westerners watched her;
Skillfully dancing was so wholeheartedly impressed. 
So my whole heart fell in love, my dearest foreigner, I was dying for love.

As the end of the music, she stopped dancing;
So the salvation pray was finished.
All Christian was reluctantly walked away, heading their homes. 

Only one man left outside the Church, who was now a Servant of Love.
“Please kindly come to talk to me!
I would like to present my love to you,
And ready to follow you, heading for the Heaven!”
